About ESSAB

Electronics Safety & Security Association of Bangladesh

Established in 2013, the Electronic Safety & Security Association of Bangladesh (ESSAB) is a non-profit trade association representing businesses and professionals working across Bangladesh’s fire safety, security and integrated systems industry.

ESSAB works to promote industry development, professional capacity building and the adoption of modern safety and security technologies. The association also engages with government and industry stakeholders on matters affecting public safety, standards, regulation and the growth of the sector.

Through advocacy, training, awareness programmes, professional development and industry engagement, ESSAB works to strengthen the ecosystem supporting safer buildings, workplaces and communities.

As the organiser of IFSSE, ESSAB brings together industry stakeholders to showcase technologies, exchange knowledge, build professional connections and encourage collaboration across the fire, safety and security sectors.

A message from the Secretary General

Building a Safer Bangladesh Through Technology, Knowledge & Collaboration

Bangladesh is experiencing remarkable growth in industrialization, infrastructure, urban development, energy, manufacturing and technology. This transformation creates tremendous opportunities, but it also makes Fire Protection, Life Safety, Security, Emergency Preparedness and Risk Management increasingly important.

Recognizing this need, the Electronics Safety & Security Association of Bangladesh (ESSAB) is proud to organize the 10th International Fire, Safety & Security Expo — IFSSE 2026, from 26–28 November 2026 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre (BCFCC), Dhaka.

IFSSE has developed into an important meeting point for the Fire, Safety and Security community in Bangladesh. The 2026 edition will bring together international exhibitors from 30+ countries, 120+ exhibition booths and more than 15,000 expected visitors, creating opportunities for technology discovery, business development, professional networking and knowledge exchange.
